On behalf of the Executive Board it was my pleasure to present the 2021 President’s Award to Mark Robbins. Mark Robbins has been a shining example of a good union worker who has improved working conditions. For many years Mark has advocated for his peers while serving on Workplace safety and Labour management committees.  Mark also ensures that any changes that are a result of those committees are communicated to the other members with respect to their rights in the collective agreement. For years Mark has voluntarily completed safety rounds, maintained the union notice board and other mundane tasks. His efforts and his advocacy have earned him the respect of his peers and of management.
