I?m pleased to announce the successful ratification of the tentative agreement reached with NAV CANADA on November 25. NAV CANADA has been advised and will make the necessary pay adjustments as soon as possible.

I wish to extend my thanks to the negotiating team for their diligent and thoughtful work.  This was not an easy round of bargaining for team.  However, in spite of the difficult decisions, they exercised true leadership and followed their convictions.  They are to be congratulated for a job well done.

The next task for the negotiating team is to prepare a report for the President on any or all aspects of the collective bargaining process.  This report will be presented to the President coincident with the signing of the new collective agreement expected to take place in January or February 2012.
