Appointment of Region 2 Executive Board Representative
On Wednesday, November 9th the Executive Board appointed Brother Patrick Gervais as the Representative for Region 2 (Quebec & Nunavut).
Patrick works as an EL at 202 Workshop Depot, CFB Montreal. In his 6 years as an IBEW member he has been involved with local and national steering committees and now sits as a member of the negotiating team working to renew our collective agreement with the Treasury Board.
This appointment comes after Brother Michel Pettigrew stepped down from the position earlier this month. Michel was invaluable in his efforts to modernize our online tools among several other initiatives. His service to the local is truly appreciated.
