Appointment Assistant Business Manager
I am pleased to announce the appointment of Brother Doug Pittman to the position of Assistant Business Manager effective July 31st, 2017.
Doug is currently the Local’s Western Business Representative. Doug brings to the Business Office a range of labour relations experience from his current role as well as and including Shop Steward, Chief Steward and negotiating team member for two rounds of Federal Government bargaining. Doug also served the members as a National Officer both as Recording Secretary and as Executive Board member for five years.
Doug will make an excellent addition to the Business Office staff and I'm confident that the members will be well served by Doug’s move into the Office in Ottawa.
