NAV CANADA Bargaining Team Appointed
The NAV CANADA National Steering Committee met in Ottawa from June 13 to 15. The focus of the meeting was to further define the priorities of the bargaining unit by discussing of the proposals recommended by the regional committees. On behalf of the members of Local 2228, I would like to express my thanks to the national steering committee for their contribution and their ongoing efforts throughout the bargaining process.
In consultation with the incoming Business Manager, Paul Cameron, I am pleased to appoint the following bargaining team for the upcoming round of negotiations with NAV CANADA.

- Tristan Smith
The bargaining team now has much work ahead of them over the summer in order to prepare for negotiations, which we anticipate will commence in September 2017.
