An Opportunity for the Sisters of the Local
The Dr. Roberta Bondar Career Development Program is an opportunity for young women working in science, technology, engineering or mathematics to network with industry leaders and peers and get a behind-the-scenes look at the science and tech industries in Canada. The program allows participants to expand their knowledge of public and private sector career opportunities, gain new perspectives and have direct access to leaders in the public and private sectors.
WCT (Women in Communications and Technology) partners with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), Shared Services Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Canadian Heritage, and Employment and Social Development Canada to provide participants an opportunity to learn how industry and public sectors each contribute to innovation in Canada. The program is available to young women in science and technology roles in these departments. It is also open to young women in telecom, technology or scientific companies or organizations that will sponsor them.
