IBEW Local 2228 is moving forward with the creation of a Local 2228 Women’s Committee.  This committee will be comprised of interested female members who have shown leadership and want to develop their skills further both professionally and interpersonally.

 

As such, the local will be holding the Inaugural Women’s Committee Meeting on November 14^th at the Westin Airport Hotel in Toronto Ont.  The meeting will set out the purpose, scope, and guidelines for the Local 2228 Women’s Committee, and develop a plan for future engagements. 

 

In conjunction with the Local’s Women’s Committee the 1^st District is holding their National Women’s Conference from November 15^th- 17^th 2019 at the Westin Airport Hotel in Toronto Ont.

 

**Members who attend the Local 2228 Women’s Committee meeting will be invited to stay for the National Women’s Conference. **

 

Interested members should submit a written application via email to [email protected] no later than August 15th.

 

A written report is requested of all attendees at the completion of the conference.
