Contract Ratification with Brookfield Power - La Lièvre
Following the tentative agreement announced on February 4th, for which the details are found here, we are pleased to inform you that the Brookfield Power - La Lièvre members ratified the tentative agreement with the company.
Our Brother Francis Vaillancourt ensured the vote count complied with the rules on February 11th and confirmed that the majority of members voted in favor of the agreement.
The Employer was informed and the new document is being finalized; we will then proceed to the signature of your new collective agreement.
As soon as the collective agreement is signed, it will come into effect and be applied by the parties, except where otherwise stipulated.
