The Local has been in discussions with Nav Canada over the past week in an attempt to come to an understanding of what the expiration of the Letter of understanding means and what the company is looking for in terms of economic relief.

 

The Company has agreed to pay retroactive payments from 01 January 2020 to the end of September 2020. The payments are being processed and the Local has been told the payment will take place on 11 November 2020. This will be in the form of a lump sum payment.

 

The company has sent the Local Economic Relief proposals for review. The details of the proposals will be sent to your Nav Canada email for review prior to asking you to vote. The vote will take place within the next week.

 

In order to facilitate a timely vote on the matter we will be utilizing the companies email to send you the hyperlink to a third-party provider so you can cast your ballot.

 

The Local is doing this because we do not have a complete list of personal emails for the membership. If you are worried about using the company’s network, please forward the message to your personal email and work from your own network. Ballots can also be cast by telephone.
