This pertains to the current vote underway by members at Nav Canada regarding the question of economic relief to the company.

 

There has been some concern and confusion regarding the voting process as relates to abstaining from answering a question and the resulting messaging which is created by the voting system. I hope this will make it clear that all votes cast will be counted.

 

Both questions are processed independently and therefore the ballots are recorded separately. If you abstain from either question by spoiling the ballot it does not affect your recorded answer for the other question.

 

This is true for all ballots cast during the entire vote, whether done already or not. When casting your vote please read all messages carefully and clearly as the system is quite detailed in the feedback it provides to the voter.
