Executive Board appoints Perry Konynenbelt as Local Union Vice President
On Wednesday, December 10th the Executive Board appointed Brother Perry Konynenbelt as Local Union Vice President to replace Paul Wright who stepped down earlier this fall.
Perry has worked in the radio and television broadcast industry for over 30 years and currently works in the engineering department for City TV (Rogers) in Edmonton. His union experience includes two recent rounds of contract negotiation as a member of Local 348, he has been a shop steward for the past 7 years and was also the recipient of the IBEW 2228 Outstanding Stewardship Award for 2013.
Perry\'s positive approach to collaboration and unique experience will no doubt be valuable to the executive and the rest of the local.
