IBEW CANADA Appoints Assistant Business Manager to Canadian Labour Congress Committees
I am honoured to announce that Local 2228’s Assistant Business Manager, Meaghan Olmstead has been appointed to the Employment Equity and Pay Equity committees at the Canadian Labour Congress.
The Canadian Labour Congress is the largest labour organization in Canada, bringing together dozens of national and international unions, provincial and territorial federations of labour and community-based labour councils to represent more than 3 million workers across the country.
Meaghan is an outstanding advocate in the areas of employment and pay equity and will be a valuable asset to the labour congress on behalf of all workers.
