I?m proud to announce that Local Union Vice-President Paul Wright was awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal . This prestigious honour was awarded to Brother Wright in recognition of his commitment to family, community and the country.

Paul is a CCG Technologist stationed in Sarnia, ON.  He is a busy husband and father of two young daughters.  He is continually helping out his community.  As an active member of the Sarnia Kinsmen for several years,  Paul assisted in many service projects including garbage detail at Sarnia?s Ribfest, fundraising, the annual Christmas Basket project and even serving as Club President.  He has done it all to serve his community.

Paul has also represented the IBEW 2228 at conventions, negotiations, committee work, training and many other tasks asked of him.  We are very lucky have him among in our group and on our Executive Board.

Please join me in congratulating Paul  for his great work and this special honour.
