Proposals now being accepted for Federal Government Bargaining
Even though the Federal Government agreement doesn\'t expire until August 2014, it\'s not too soon to start preparing for that round of bargaining.
Our goal is to complete preparations for bargaining by the end of May 2014. To meet this target, the Regional Steering Committee meetings will take place in March 2014 to be followed by a National Steering Committee meeting to be held in May 2014.
Given this schedule, we ask members to use the online tool found here and submit bargaining proposals by February 28, 2014. If you meet this deadline you are guaranteed to have your proposal reviewed by the steering committee in your region. Proposals will be accepted beyond this date but may not get the attention they deserve in this round of bargaining.
Members who wish to participate on the Regional Steering Committee, National Steering Committee or Negotiating Team are urged to contact their Regional Representative.
