Kim Mikkelsen Retires
As of August 2015 I will retire from my position as an EL with the Federal Public Service (Industry Canada). I will also be stepping down from my duties as the Regional Representative ? Region 6 (B.C.) and member of the national Local 2228 Executive Board.
It has been an honour and a pleasure to serve as an officer with the local. Thank you to each and every one of you that I have had the pleasure of working with over the years. I have always been proud to be associated with this group.
I encourage all members to get involved with your union to whatever extent you feel comfortable with. It has been a rewarding experience for me and it will be rewarding for you in the future to be involved.
