Executive Board seeks candidate for Vice-President
Brother Paul Wright has stepped down from his position as Vice-President. This leaves a vacancy to be filled on our Local\'s team of national officers.
It is the Executive Board\'s responsibility to fill the vacant position with an appropriate candidate. If you have previous experience as a board member for a volunteer organization, or experience as an officer or steward with our Local, and are interested in serving our members in a national forum, we would like to hear from you.
A person in this position will typically be a team player with an interest in areas of union governance. This would include leading committee work, mentoring other volunteers, and in participating in financial management and strategic planning for our Local. There is also a requirement to travel periodically throughout Canada.
